06 March 2012 It is not necessary that the income of the assessee should exceed the exemption limit. An assessee can voluntarily file income tax return even if his income is less than the exemption limit.

Choose the appropriate return depending in the nature of the income and file the return.

06 March 2012 i dont work any where even i dont have any business but i need a TIN no for tradind,so to acquire a tin no. adovocate is asking to file a return..so how to file a retun..please suggest me

06 March 2012 You can show income from tution receipts and file a return.
