23 January 2019 Hi,
I am about to start running an online business wherein I deliver curated dry snacks, juices and fresh fruit. In my own companies larger packaging I will be inserting snacks from other companies which have their own separate packaging.
My annual turnover is not more than 20L but I read that I still need to charge for GST because this comes under an e-commerce business.
What would be the HSN for my product or how much GST do I charge my customers?

24 January 2019 Yes, as you are supplying goods through E-commerce, you need to register.
Classification of goods (HSN) and rate depends upon exact description of goods. Fresh fruits are exempted. Generally food items falls under Chapter 20 and attract different rates of duty. Consult a good practitioner and get your product properly classified and rate of tax determined.
You shall also be eligible for ITC credit. You shall also be getting ITC of other companies snack which you shall supply along with your own goods.
