05 November 2009 One of my Client is a Authorised Dealer of Hero Honda Motorcycle Ltd. in a capacity of Individual (Prop.ship Concern)

He paid freight to company.
Company frieght Invoice show Service Tax Amount paid by consignee.

Who is liable to paid GTA.

Hero Honda Company or Dealer (Prop.ship concern)

please suggest.

05 November 2009 Authorised Dealer of Hero Honda Motorcycle Ltd is lible to pay service tax. he is consignee.

05 November 2009 but GTA paid by only specific person (receiver of service) and an Individual is not covered in specific person.

05 November 2009 Dealer is paying cartage and booking in his account then he is lible to pay service tax . but service tax exemption limit is 10 lakh.
