A Goods and Services Tax Practitioner (GSTP) can indeed opt for Section 44ADA for filing their income tax returns, even if they handle GST returns for clients without explicitly mentioning their GSTP ID. Registration as a GSTP classifies them as an authorised representative, making them eligible for this scheme. Furthermore, passing the GSTP exam is a requirement for registration.

Sir, Thanks for prompt reply. But I'm not representing any party in papers, do their work on their own behalf. Now, can fall under 44ADA? I registered as GSTP on behalf of PG Taxation, should need to pass GSTP exam? Regards Vikas
