I have textile business, my turnover is below 20 lakh per annum, I purchase some items from other states,
plz suggest under which scheme we register under get
whether after registration we are liable to pay tax or not

you are not crossing threshold limit for complusory registration however u can take voluntarily registration.
if a person is making inter state supply then registration is compulsory in Ur can u are purchasing inter state not selling.
if u will get registration then u have pay tax as a normal registered person ,you have to fill 3 returns in a month and overall minimum 4 in a year

Whether to register under composition or normal scheme, depends upon your customers. Generally for wholesalers normal scheme is preferable, where in ITC can be claimed. While retailers prefer to go with composition.
