Gst number for different shops

I am going to open 4 pharma shops. My question is:
1) Is it possible to open all the 4 shops in my name only as a sole proprietor?
2) Whether it possible to operate all the 4 shops with a single GST number or else different numbers are required for different shops?

1 yes 4 shops can be opened in a single name of proprietor.
2 yes 4 shops can be operated with single GST number if its within the state. Other shops can be included in the single registration as other places of business.

Thankyou for the reply sir. For sole proprietor , a bank account in the name of shop has to be open. My question is that for 4 different pharma shops, do I need to open 4 different accounts in the name of 4 different shops or just one account will be required?

Just One account will be required.

In the first reply you have mentioned " Other shops can be included in a single GST number with other place of business". Please clarify what is other place of business.

Mention other 3 shops address in other places of business in GST registration
