Gst number for different shops

14 December 2017 I am going to open 4 pharma shops. My question is:

1) Is it possible to open all the 4 shops in my name only as a sole proprietor?

2) Whether it possible to operate all the 4 shops with a single GST number or else different numbers are required for different shops?

14 December 2017 1 yes 4 shops can be opened in a single name of proprietor.
2 yes 4 shops can be operated with single GST number if its within the state. Other shops can be included in the single registration as other places of business.

14 December 2017 Thankyou for the reply sir. For sole proprietor , a bank account in the name of shop has to be open. My question is that for 4 different pharma shops, do I need to open 4 different accounts in the name of 4 different shops or just one account will be required?
