German citizen becoming a trustee

Whether a German Citizen (Overseas Indian) can become a Trustee or Founder in India, also whether he can buy properties in his name in India.

Any Experts can give me the opinion.

06 November 2011 Yes German Citizen can become a trustee in India but the TRUST shall not be able to get FCRA and other Govt. approvals.

Purchase of Property- Yes after the German Citizen becomes resident as per FEMA.
