15 August 2011 If a delaer send goods on delivery chalan accompanied with form ST-38. and Some goods were broken in transit. then how to adjust the quantity while making a consolidated BIll.

It is very simple. Let your agent or branch send back the broken goods with a goods return note/debit note. on receiving such returned goods and documents you can reduce the value of goods sent in the invoice.
