07 February 2010 Employees having Form 16A should file which ITR.
the employee was working in back office of Cheers interactive (i) pvt ltd. for 6 months the company there after winded up the process. issued Form16A to the employees.

i filled both ITR-1 & ITR-2 But the I.T.O refused to take both with the reason that it is not a salary case, they are saying to fill ITR-4.
plz suggest

07 February 2010 For tax deduction from salary income the relevant form for issue of tds certificate is Form No. 16 and form 16 A is tds certificate for other than salary. In your case you since your emplyer has issued form no. 16 A, it means that he has this payment other than salary in his books. Hence in your case ITR-4 is applicable for filing the return.

07 February 2010 See the Form 16A. there will be mentioned in which head company give you income. This is 16A so this will be other then salary. So that is why ITR-4 will be applicable.

07 February 2010 Yes.form16A issued for Non salary and need to fil ITR4 and form16A it self it shuold mentioned under which categary and section is TDS deducted

07 February 2010 ITR -4 is for Business/profession and you have received 16A it means you are businessman/professional so you have to filed your return with ITR-4 and also claim refund in case of you have not taxable income. filed carefully in which sec. you tds has been deducted in ITR-4.
