Sir,
Recently i heared that from next year onwards issue of form 16 is not there as per recent amendments in income tax act
is it correct

yes mr. ramesh,
it is correct, when ur tds deducted the same is deposited in your pan, like you despot the cash in your bank account. the tds will appear in your pan. And 26AS form will issed to you qurterely for your record.

Dear Ramesh,
When IT has Introduced ITR & Mr.Chitambaram has annouced that No attachment is required or need in ITR instead of any necesaary Certificates.
but the figures which u have to filled in ITR-1 or 2 of Salary Details it should be correct and as per 16 and TDS data should be matched with ETDS retruns.
but Preparing of 16 is a good Practise.
