I HAVE TO ISSUE A FORM 16 TO OUR EMPLOEE FOR A.Y.2010-11.BUT IN THE RELEVANT F.Y.(i.e.2009-10)THE CONSTITUTION OF OUR FIRM HAS BEEN CHANGES AS (PROPRIETORSHIP 01.04.09 TO 30.09.09 CONVERTED INTO PARTNERSHIP FROM 01.10.09).NOW SHOULD I HAVE TO ISSUE 2 FROM 16 TO THE EMPLOEE FOR THE SEPARATE ENTITY.

Two / one can be issued. If one is issued showing the employer as partnership firm, salary drawn from proprietary concern may be shown in clause 7 of the said form 16.
