If one my friend salary is 4 lacs and he made investment of 2 lacs for the year.can the employer give him form 16.his 26 AS is showing no amounts.can he ask form 16.

Incase employer deducted TDS from your salary then you can ask the form 16. since you have mentioned your form 26AS is nil, so no tds deducted from your salary. so you can request your employer for form 16 with Nil tax
