24 January 2013 sir,an Indian citizen who hasbeen living in virzinia from seven years and bearing citizenship of that country want to appointed as a director of indian company(PVT LTD) which has to be established newly .for din application what are the requirements and what is the procedure to be followed inorder to register him as a director of Indian company.for digital signature certificate shal i apply for DSC in India if so wat are the requirements.

1. Passport size photo
2. ID Proof
3. Residence proof
4. Mother Name
5. Date of Birth
6. Email ID
7. PIN Code
8. Father Name
9. Phone Number
10. Copy of Pan Card
11. Affidavit
12. Declaration

What are the additional information/ documents required in case of a foreign national?

Details of a valid passport should be filled in form DIN-1 and a certified copy of same should be attached with DIN application. All supporting documents including photograph should be certified by the Indian Embassy or a notary in the home country of the applicant or by the Managing Director / CEO / Company Secretary of the company registered in India, in which applicant is a director.
