22 July 2011 I registered in incometaxefiling.com some months back.But now i have forgot my password.Last year i filied my return for the first time and that too manually and i even don't remember the question and answer i entered during my registration.I even mail this problem to department but no reply came from their side.Somebody please help me out.

25 July 2011 Open you account feed your pan number and ask for forget pass word. You will be asked the last filed acknowledgement number and then the answer to the question which is generally pass time and the answer is always afternoon.

The you put in new pass word and reconfirm the same. Not eht new pass word and you will get the new pass word generated.
