I am a CA with 7 years of post qualified experience. Out of which last 5 years in Hedge Fund Accounting. I am recently blessed with a baby so now would like to take up part time / flexi time assignment/job. I am not very particular about profile. I am located in Bangalore.

Can I get help in my search.

15 June 2010 My first suggestion is enjoy your motherhood taking a break from your professional career for a year or two in case you do not have any financial constraints.
Its really blessed to be a mother and you should thank God for that. Given the fact that its your first child, you must cherish the moments.

In case you still feel to get back to work or part time whatever, first you can approach the company where you were working last as they would understand you better than anybody else given the fact that you have honestly served them for 5 years. You can make them agree for a part time engagement for a lesser pay etc and if possible the work from home option can be explored. Why I’m telling you this is I have seen this works out in many cases.

Else, you can seek support of your good friends who are already working in reputed org for long. Whether they can hire your for a part time initially for module oriented jobs and later you may choose to join them permanently.
