Flat purchase in name of myself,my wife and son

26 April 2025 I have booked a flat of 2crores with joint application in my name, wife's name and my son's name. Tds need to be deducted.which applicant will deduct and deposit the tds amount.How will I divide the ownership between all the applicant.pl clarify the process of showing in books of accounts.

26 April 2025 Unless you clarify the percentage of shares of ownership of each, it will be treated as equally divided amongst three, hence all the three owners should deduct TDS as per their ownership in the flat.

26 April 2025 I want 10% for me and my wife each and balance 80% for my son.will it be ok?


26 April 2025 Yes, it should be declared in the sale documents and accordingly TDS has to be deducted.

26 April 2025 Yes, otherwise it will be treated as equal share of each owners and as such there will be default notice for TDS deduction.
