02 July 2013 good evening,i cleared ipcc exam may 2012 attemp and i started my articleship on 23.08.2012 and took transfer on 4.05.2013 (with 12 leaves under my first principal)..then i rejoined my articleship training under another principal on 29 june 2013..MY FINAL EXAM IS DUE ON may 2015...plz tell me will i be eligible for the may 2015 attempt ??
will the furure leave of 3 months for preparing for final exam be included in leave calculation?
i am worried about my eligibility

02 July 2013 1)you will ca final exam eligibility after completion of 2.5 years of articleship..in simple words in last six months of articleship

2)as your articleship starts on 23.08.2012 means ends on 22 august 2015 so you eligible for may 2015 exam

3)take delay of 2 months(Approx.) in re-registration with other employer , so articleship completion extends for 2 months..which is 23.10.2015

4)so even now you can attend for may 2015 exam..as it is in last 6 months if articleship..

So no more worries

02 July 2013 Don't need to bother about leaves..here leave means excess leave taken only not the entire leave taken..

so excess leave taken will enhance the period of articleship and consequently your completion of articleship will extends so that your attempt may changes

But

in general ,,even though you have exces leave your principal may allow you to write exam..but you should work with him for the period of excess leave taken

so there is no harm to ur may 2015 exam
