23 August 2012 Hi All,

What is the procedure, if the ITR-V is sent to the department after the due date(120days),because firstly the assessee sent it by Ordinary post within time but the ITR was not delivered to the dept., afterwords it is sent but late by 3 days .

There is refund due, now what is the remedy.

The date of Filing ITR is 31/03/2012
Date of Receipt of ITR V 31/07/2012
The status on IT site is ITR received date exceeded the due date.
