03 August 2015 My Friend was posted from his company abroad for a period of 5 years (2008-2013) For this period his salary was credited to the bank where he was posted. He returned to india in Oct'13 and his salary started getting credited from Oct'13 onwards. Tax was also deducted. Now whether for filing return , is he required to file return for fy 13-14, before filing return for fy 14-15. Please reply.

03 August 2015 if his income in india in fy 14-15 exceeded the basic slab of exemption then needs to file itr mandatorly
