Filing of income-tax return for fin.year 2012-13

04 July 2013 Dear Sir,

For filing Income Tax Return, i downloaded ITR-1 from the website incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in, however on opening the excel sheet it gives an error" Compile error in hidden module:Module 3" thus preventing data validation.

Want to know, whether there is any other way /any other site from which ITR1/ITR2 returns can be downloaded which is error free.

04 July 2013 Again download the ITR file and ensure Macros are enabled. Hope your problem will be resolved.

Thanks for your reply. But, the problem remains, as inspite of the macros being enabled, it shows the error "Compile error in hidden module:Module 3".

04 July 2013 Have downloaded the ITR again? If the problem persist then you will have to contact the helpdesk.
