Filing of First year of Annual return

17 December 2010 Dear Sir
We have formed company on 12/09/2008. when we are filing the form 23ACA, it show the querry that previous year should be less than or equall to company formation date. it does not accept the year 1/4/2007 to 11/09/2008 and current year is 12/09/2008 to 31/03/2009. Please guide if we have to file the form 23ACA or not.

17 December 2010 In your case fill the current year details alone by giving the dates 12/09/2008 to 31/03/2009. Previous year column only fill the "to date" i.e. 11/09/2008 and not the starting date.
If this does not work, then leave the previous year column and try.

17 December 2010 Since the first financial year of the Company is 12/09/2008 to 31/03/2009. As the financial statements are drawn for this year only, there is no need to mention anything in the coloumn of the previous year.

17 December 2010 YES,IN PREVIOUS YEAR COLUMN ONLY FILL "to date" 11/09/2008.AND IT WILL WORK.

17 December 2010 Concur with 1st and 3rd reply. Also type "0" in all other column's of "figures for the previous financial year". System will accept and e-form 23ACA can be uploaded.
