Our Product Amikacin, chapter 30, is exempt when imported into India.(vide General exemption in Customs Tariff Act)

Will it be exempt in excise also ?

12 November 2014 If your chapter is not exempt under given tariff of schedule one then then only excise duty not liveable.

Plz check chapter excise rate at cbec.gov.in
