29 June 2012 can i take excise credit two times in a single bill for two different items.
situation is i purchase material party send me bill for 5 items in which 4 items excise duty is 12% & 1 items excise duty is 10% then how i take credit coz bill cant change.

29 June 2012 you can take credit both the amount SHOWN in the invoice. But 10% ED is applicable before budget. How the party charges now along with 12% commoditieS?

04 July 2012 Before budget excise duty was 10% and after budget is 12%. If you have received an invoice after budget then excise duty should be 12%.
