I want to know that if dealer has charged rate over & above schedule rate & assessing has disallowed set off calim on that purchases on ground that your supplier has to charged 12.5 % instead of 4 %
what my client has to do get disaloowed setoff

First of all bring into notice the matter to the dealer who has charged excess rate of VAT and if the dealer has collected and deposited the excessive collected VAT amount into Govt. treasury then you will get set-off of the said amount, But you have to produce evidence of the same before Authority
