Dear Sir/Madam
I am not able to upload ITR 1 for the AY 2010-11, I am getting Error Message saying due date is 31/03/2012 now can i file the return is it possible or not

Income tax return u/s 139(4) [Belated return] can be filed upto one year from the end of the assessment year.
return for AY 10-11 could have been filed upto 31.03.2012.
Since the time period for filing the same has expired, the return has become time barred and CANNOT be filed now.

Return of AY 2010-11 is now time barred. Last date was 31.03.2012.
Only way out is filing applications/claims under section 119(2)(b) for condonation of delay.
