If you're encountering a validation error when filing your ITR2, specifically concerning Section 80U deductions, you're not alone. This issue often arises even when no amount is claimed. Fortunately, it appears to be a common glitch within the filing utility. Many taxpayers have successfully resolved it by trying methods like completely deleting or deselecting the section, entering '0' or '1' in the amount field, or other trial-and-error approaches.

It is a glitch in the utility, which goes off by trial-and-error method like deleting the section completely, or deselecting the section which is auto selected or filling amount 0 or 1 in the field etc. Most of the assessee have resolved the issue in similar fashion, rather than filing Grievance at end moment.
