25 February 2011 Could any one guide me how and which form should be used to file 1st epf return after getting registered under epf act.

We have got registered under epf on 16 of july and we had made contribution for 2 month at the time of registration.

and also I have deposited the epf contribution for the month of july and yet to file return

What are the form that i should submit
and
What are the process for alloting epf account no. for each employee


Please give me your Valuable Suggestions.

25 February 2011 You must have deposited PF contribution in the PF combined challan.(in quadruplicate).

After the deposit, you have the triplicate & quadruplicate copy of challan.

You need to file a monthly PF return in form 12A. Alongwith this form you need to submit Triplicate copy of challan, Form 5 & 10 & also form 2 (if any addition of employee has taken place in that month).

You need to submit the monthly PF return by 25th of the next month.

25 February 2011 E.G.For October : PF amount should be deposited in bank till 15th Nov(20th Nov with allowed grace period)

& PF return in Form 12A, triplicate challan, Form 5 & 10 & form 2(if applicable) by 25th Nov.




25 February 2011 alloting epf account no. for each employee :

Suppose you establishment PF code is :
DL/22554

Then your employees shall have the pf accounts number as DL/22554/001
DL/22554/002
DL/22554/003
DL/22554/004
...........and so on....
