03 April 2016 SBI main branch mumbai has put Ay 2016-17 instead of Ay 2015-16 on income tax challan because of which credit of tax has not gone to Ay 2015-16. I have to send an email in this connection to income tax department. Please let me know the email id of the various concerned sections of income tax department related with this issue.

03 April 2016 Actually the payment of SA Tax for Ay 2015-16 was made by cheque. Cheque was issued in favour of " SBI A/C INCOME TAX " but the bankers has put on challan wrong assessment year i.e. instead of Ay 2015-16 bank has put on Challan Ay 2016-17 and finally credit of tax has gone to Ay 2016-17 instead of going to Ay 2015-16 and this issue I want to bring into kind notice of income tax department and therefore I require email id of income tax department

03 April 2016 This will be corrected by the bank level itself,department will not respond for this or directly approach with your assessing officer
