We have a sales office in Bangalore. Only orders are booked in Bangalore...all the sales are being done from Delhi.

Now there is a requirement of e-sugam form in Bangalore ...Please guide me as to:

1)what is this form and what is the purpose of this form

2) Do we need to file this form...

3) Should we get ourselves registered under Karnataka VAT for working in Bangalore.....will registration help in any way....

Is e-sugam only for inter state movement/sales of goods or even for local movement/sales within Karnataka.

Can only dealers registered in Karnataka upload e-sugam forms...or an unregistered dealers can also upload e-sugam

30 July 2012 You told that you have an office in Bangalore. Then, are you registered under KVAT Act?

E-sugam is downloadable form in the karnataka vat website and this is used for certain specific commodities which are sold, transferred from karnataka and also to karnataka. Only registered dealer can apply it online.

If you are supplying the materials to karnataka party, you can ask the karnataka party to download and send it across.

We are not registered under K-VAT. Is it necessary to get registered to be able to upload e-sugam.

I understand that e-sugam is required both for Inter state & Intra state movements in karnataka.

Seeking ur views on both the matters stated above..
