07 July 2015 Dear Sir,
An assesse aged 62 years (senior citizen) going to file ITR for A.Y. 2015-16 having gross total income below Rs. 5.00 Lacs and having refund from TDS deducted by bank from fixed deposits. So can he file manual return as his income is below Rs. 5.00 Lacs.

Please suggest at the earliest.

07 July 2015 Yes manual return can be filed but advisable to file online return for faster processing and refund. Also efiling is easier compared to paper return.

07 July 2015 Dear Sir,
In the notification dated 15.04.2015 issued by Department of Revenue, CBDT any refund claimed in the return of income except for super senior citizens should be filed electronically i.e. online return.

Please suggest whether I am wright or wrong

08 July 2015 Dear Sir,
Another query if you please reply I will be thankful to you that whether from this year ITR 4 needs to be filed on line compulsory in all circumstances irrespective of the income of the assesse or manual return can be filed.

Please give a detailed clarification regarding the issue.

Paper return can not be filed for ITR4.
