I am not able to generate XML file after downloading the ITR-1 for the Assessment year 2011-12(Excel format downloaded from the Income Tax Dept) for the following reasons
1. I am a pensioner of Central Bank of India and what would be the TAN SR code of Central Bank of India (Branch or Central Office of the Bank). If no TAN is there what is the remedy? No tax is deducted in my case
2. I have other incomes-House rent and interest on Term Deposits. I have submitted Form 15-G and the Bank had not deducted TDS on interest earned. I have invested41,269/- in PPF and LIC under 80-c to bring down my income below1,60,000/-
Now,is not possible for me to e-file because the TDS coloumns could not be filled for the above mentioned facts? Please guide me

For filling ITR 1 filling TDS columns is not a must. If there is no TDS no column has to be filled in TDS section.
