Due dates and penalties on not filling tds return of quarter 1

14 October 2014 Dear Sir,

I Am A Govt Employee. I Am A Regular In Paying TDS & Income Tax Returns. This Year FY 2014-15, I Failed To Fill TDS Return (Quarter 1). Due Date Has Passed.

I Want To Know What Is The Procedure To Fill Quarter 1. Is It Impose Any File For Late Payment.

My Income For Quarter 1 Is 39930/- & Tax Paid = Nil. Will It Impose Any Fine.

Also Tell Me Complete Due Dates & Fine For Late Payment For FY 2014-15.

14 October 2014 Whose return are you talking about? Employee required to file only income tax returns not TDS return. Due date of TDS Return for 1st quarter to be filed by the employer is 15th July. Penalty Rs 200 per day subject to maximum of TDS amount.
