05 September 2016 Dear Sir, I want to register DSC on traces site as Deductor, but technical error is showing. Traces team advised me to have jre version 1.7 or above in computer. Sir I want to know about it and how I can download it. Its urgent sir.

06 September 2016 give a search on google for free download of JRE version 1.7 and download the same.
Alternatively you can do the same from income tax site as well

06 September 2016 Sir DSC is to register on TRACES not on Income tax site and same is showing technical error after all the specification. Please guide

07 September 2016 JRE version is available on income tax site for free download. Hence the link is given.....
either you can download the JRE version from the income tax site
OR
give a search for the same on GOOGLE and download it.
Then the technical error of TRACES should go. All the best

08 September 2016 Please surf through the site meticulously.... it is VERY much feature rich site.......so it may take some time for you.... Else follow the steps
01. open the site
02. Click on ITR forms 2016-17 under DOWNLOADS.....( this is on right hand side, some what at middle)
03 See item no 5, under notes...... (middle of the page.)

select the one which suits the configuration of your system...... (Do take the help of computer savvy person...for some doubts like 64 bit version or 32...etc.etc.)
