23 December 2010 What is the procedure for purchase return including documents to be submitted to the seller?

Is return is made within 6 months from the date of purchase, reversal of tax credit is allowed. So, how to present vat in the documents sent to seller in the case of purchase return?

24 December 2010 VAT Return to be filed Quaterly/Monthly depeding upon Rule applicable to your unit.

Documents to be submitted
1) Form 201 - VAT Return
2) Form 201A - list of sales tax invoice issued
3) form 201B - list of purchase tax invoice
3) Form 201C - Quantitative details
4) Form -III (b) - CST Return
5) Annexure for List of OGS / H form Sales and Purchases
6) Declaration
7) Counter part of VAT & CST Challan if any.

Sales purchase Return and adjustment in tax effect to be incorporated in Annexure I for Sales and Annexure II in Purchase in Form 201 (Monthly/Quaterly) and Form 205 (Annual)
