Do anybody know how to convert data from excel into tally

30 October 2009 I have got my own software. Anybody know any other software, this is to compare mine with others which is more comfortable. I have got all the modules sales,purchase,receipt & payment. Wheteher anybody has really using it in day to day accounting? How is the feedback, limitation .

31 October 2009 What is it u want? to enable opinion on different accounting packages including yours somebody independent of u should have used it,right? Where do u begin?

31 October 2009 I have developed a VB based subroutine which can process excel based data like sales, purchase, receipt, payments into tally xml format ready to be imported into tally. After developing this i thought that this is unique concept bcoz when i searched internet i didnot found any software like this ex one called UDI magic but that needs rtslink, javaruntime platform. My one doesnot need anything otherthan excel. Before i claim myself to be expert in that, i need to reconfirm bcoz ihave seen lots of experts r there talking abt rtslink, tdl, excel macro. I thaught this will be right to post in caclub.
