an employee getting remuneration in a pvt limited company is also the director of the same private limited company. does he become the Managing Director?

Hi
Yes, you can do so, because the provisions of appointment and remuneration to director and managing director will not apply to private company so you are free to pay remuneration and appoint him as managing director.
