Does a Director appointed in Casual vacancy need to be regularised in AGM?

As per section 161(4) of the Companies Act, 2013, appointment of director to fill casual vacancy should be made in the duly convened meeting of the Board of directors. However you have to check the provisions of AOA regarding ppointment of director in casual vacancy
