01 December 2010 what is this buzz around about introduction of direct tax code??what is it??gimme a brief idea plz..i heard IT act will be withdrawn...???so whatever i studied is gone???.thanx..

01 December 2010 The whole idea of DTC is to make simple & easy for people.

DTC would replace the Income Tax Act 1961.

No.
If you have throughly studied Income tax, it would help you for better understand in DTC. Inotherwords studing income also helps in DTC. (Dont think that it is gone)
