12 January 2014 Hello all my dear Friends,

Direct Entry Scheme came on effect from 1st August 2012. Am i right?

My Query is : " Student who were eligible to direct entry scheme at that time also did not registered under direct entry rather they registered in 23 aug 2012 under CPT route IPCC Since they have alredy pass CPT.

But now they failed in Group I exam in may 2013 and did not appear in Nov 2013 exam also. Can they now convert into Direct Entry IPCC and start articleship???

.....urgent ....please...

12 January 2014 i dont think there is any cut off date from conversion...you can definitely go ahead for conversion...

One of my Friend was really in dilemma regarding switching to ...direct entry.........

..from somewhere he only got confusion i.e

....only Existing CA students i.e( before Decalaration of Direct Entry by ICAI )i.e (before 1st aug 2012 ) are eligible for conversion. otherwise fresh student should go straightforward through either direct entry scheme or CPT route scheme. In Middle they would not have option for conversion.

...than I also become confuse...regarding this issue....

Please Nikhil , if you have further more clarification & ideas on this....help to eradicate this issue.

25 January 2014 There is no restrcition in converting into direct entry scheme in this case.

15 February 2014 Dear Friends,

My Friends Registered in IPCC in 31st August 2012 under CPT Route. Even if he was eligible(b.com with 56%) to direct entry, He did not opted under direct entry at that time.

Now He failed in both May 2013 and November 2013 attempt in group 1.

Now He want to Convert into direct entry and Start Articleship.

Is Conversion possible to Student have registered in IPCC CPT route after 1st august 2012 (after direct entry Announcement) into Direct entry IPCC ???

Kindly share valueable suggestion.

17 February 2014 yes even after opting for cpt route & not clearing then also still can opt for direct entry scheme as there is no restriction in it.
