Dir-12 error_appointment of directors

13 September 2014 Dear Professional Colleagues,

While uploading DIR-12 for appointment of directors im getting error that "The director Mr.xxx with Din/pan No-xxxxxx is already a deactivated director and he cannot be deactivated again.

I've raised ticket with MCA but even they couldn't help me.

I request my colleagues to please help me in this matter.

13 September 2014 It seems your director is in the list of defaulting directors as one of the company in which he is director is a defaulting company.

You are advised to go through the list of defaulting directors available on the MCA website.

13 September 2014 If company, in which he/she is already a Director, didn't e-file DIN-3 in time ,upon receipt of DIN-2 from director, MCA will deactivate the concerned DIN. Now, the said forms are not in statute. Heard, MCA is coming out with a form as a substitute to DIN-3 to solve the issue faced by you,among others.
