03 January 2011 Can a Newly Fromed Company has to file DIN-3? What is the time limit for the same?

03 January 2011 Hi...

In case of Directors appointed up to 30.06.2007 and not having DIN:

1. Apply for DIN in form DIN-1.

2. Within 30 days from the date of allotment of DIN, intimate the same in Form DIN-2, to the Company in which he is a Director,

3. Within 7 days from the date of receipt of DIN-2, the Company has to file DIN-3 with the ROC.

In case of Directors appointed after 30.06.2007,

1. Apply for DIN in Form DIN-1,

2. On allotment of DIN, the Company has to file Form 32 within 30 days from the date of appointement.

In case of Directors appointed after 30.06.2007, no need of Form DIN-2 & DIN -3.

03 January 2011 Filing Din-3 is not applicable for those directors appointed on or after 01/07/2007. In other words, if the date of incorporation is on or after that date no need to file DIN-3.
