I have a doubt regarding the DIN.
What happens if a Director of a company does not obtain a DIN?
The DIN came into effect only from 2006. What about the directors before 2006? What if they don't acquire DIN? Is there any penalty?

Every Director has to obtain DIN. If DIN is not obtained you can't file any form online.
