Can you please explain,Whehter digital sign is mantodoty for directors of pvt ltd co. In case of pvt ltd co. whether director has to put digital sign on b/s and income tax returns of the co. Thanks...

24 September 2010 DSC is mandatory at least for one director of the company. This is mainly used to file ROC and Income tax returns of the company. In the balance sheet the Directors may sign manually.

25 September 2010 As a corollary to rule 12(3) of the Income tax Rules,1962 read along with CBDT Notification No.49/2010 dated 9/07/2010.
