02 August 2013 Kindly distinguish between ST-3 & ST-3A. And its utilisation.

Please explain in widely ways.....

02 August 2013 ST-3 Return is generally filed in case of self- assessment.
whereas ST-3A is filed in case of provisonal assessment along with a statement of deifference in liablity arised and deposited every month/quarter

I HAVE PASSED MY IPCC EXAM IN NOV 2012 WITH HINDI MEDIUM BUT NOW I WANT TO DO CA FINAL IN ENGLISH. SO PLZ SUGGEST ME HOW TO START STUDY WITH ENGLISH MEDIUM? & ALSO SUGGEST ME BEST BOOK FOR CA FINAL..

03 August 2013 Since you are switching to English medium there may be some problems you have to face when it comes to interpretation of sections ,law in DT, IDT ,Law,Accounting standards.
So, whichever book you follow ,follow only one book. To be on a safer side buy hindi version of the same book for your own convenience.Example- for law Munish bhandari is best,but since it involves totally correct interpretation of law,you may buy hindi medium book also,so that in case you get stuck somewhere, so may use it as a guide.
I would recommend to go through practice manual and last 3-5 attempts RTPs.
There are so many experts who have already recommended best books for CA final previously.My opinion is as-
Accounts-parveen sharma along with his class notes if possible, else PC tulsian/padhuka is also considered good.
For Accounting standard-DS Rawat
Audit-padhuka
Law-munish bhandari
SFM- SD Bala and Ashish kalra
Cost- Saxena Vashisht .Sanjay Aggrawal 2nd choice
ISCA- Manish valecha along with study material
DT-Vinod gupta
IDT-Mohd Rafi and study material

My CA Final Attempt is Nov. 2015. some people told me not to start study now, start after completion of one year. Can you suggest me?
Which subject Can I start this time for Nov 2015.

03 August 2013 Take up Accounts ,Cost,ISCA
Further ,you will be required to make additional efforts in law,audit,DT,IDT.Agree that in DT,IDT there will be sure changes but even in that case I recommend atleast go through Institute material that you will receive as soon as you get register.Atleast,clear your basic concepts.There is no harm in knowing current laws,it may help you in your articleship as well.Law is also not likely to be changed wholly.Waiting for a year will only waste your time and by the end it may affect your confidence level in exams.

There will be ammendments in standards on auditing at times,so consider that as well
