Dear Colleagues,
A( Mumbai) is selling goods to B(VAPI) under C form
Goods was collected by tempo hired by B, therefore does not have any LR, but has tempo number written on challan .
B has supplied all the C forms,
Can vat officer, disallow C FORM or treat as local sale FOR LACK OF DESPATCH PROOF?

Mr. Paresh Zatakia,
In this case the vat officer can not and need not ask for proof of despatch to a registered dealer in another state.Prouction of 'C' form should be enough.Some times goods can be carried in their own vehicle also.Issue of 'C' forms will be verified by the buyer's vat officer.
