21 November 2013 if I am trading only in derivatives, can I consider it as my capital asset? if yes then under which section? If no then under which head the gain or loss should be taxed?please elaborate

21 November 2013 i dont think so. Anyways derivatives get over before an year.

since you are trading in derivatives, anyways you shall be taxed under "income from business/profession".
