depreciation as per companies act is calculated on no. of days used or there is any other method?is there ne depreciation on intangiable assets as per companies act?

Yes it is calculated on the basis of days of life in any f.y.
not on basis of using life ( Depreciation will be applicable if assets are keep idle.
