Delegation of powers

This query is : Resolved

09 September 2013 Can the GM(HR) of the holding Company be given the powers to appoint, promote, terminate and hold disciplinary proceedings of the employees of its Subsidiary Companies?

09 September 2013 In General, it will be acceptable.

But as a legal practice it is not possible, because every company have their own entity and employee.

In your case you are delegating the power to control.

As per my understanding, it is not a good practice.

Other views are also solicited.

09 September 2013 Through a validly passed board resolution in favour of VP-HR this is very much possible.

Nothing to worry.

good luck
