02 October 2011 We are registered with Cental excise & Sales tax under manufacturing business unit, now we are planning to start with dealership business too, is it possible to do the dealership business or i need to get seprate licence for this?

02 October 2011 Central excise registration number differs for both manufacturer and dealer.

02 October 2011 Thanks for your reply, we are coming under central excise exempted category(Wind turbine unit, as per central excise notification number 6/2006 dated 01/03/2006

And also we are mentioning in the moa itself cleary our company objective like designing,marketing,buying and selling,importing, exporting like that eventhough if it is required.

02 October 2011 No is if it is a exempted category and outside the scope of excise duty, then separate registration for new business not required.
