Deduction claimed u/s 24 disallowed by the department.

Sir,I have received income tax notice u/s 143(1). It is disallowing tax relief u/s 24(b) of rs 150000. What do i do to give answer. Where i contact to give answer of the same at my jurisdiction ITO or bangalore. I have e-filed this return. They r claiming tax liability of rs.20000. My income is only from salary head. What r the specifications n documents should i give to console them why i have claimed this deduction.

depending upon the facts of the case you may file an application for rectification to CPC Banglore or may file an appeal u/s 246 with CIT appeal attached to your jurisdictional authority
